Or perhaps what he is looking for through his deconstruction is for that which cannot be deconstructed -- and with that hope he can enter into a second naivete, as espoused by Barth and Ricoeur? In other words, postmodern thought, even though taken to its logical extremes becomes this reductionistic realitivism and even nihilism, is the ultimate search for the Absolute?"
